Do my products appear on my site automatically?

No. Each product appears where you place a Product block. That's what lets you design every product page your own way.

I added a product, but it's not on my website.

Place it on a page with a Product block, then publish that page.

I switched my store on, but there's no cart on my website.

Publish your website again. The cart button appears once it's published. See Publishing.

I changed a price. Do I need to publish?

No. Prices, stock and product visibility update on your site by themselves. See what updates by itself.

A block says "This product is no longer available".

Its product was hidden or deleted. Choose another product in the block's settings, or show the product again in Store → Products.

Can I sell services or digital products?

Yes. Turn off 'Needs shipping' on the product, and checkout won't ask for an address. Delivering the service or files is up to you: siteSPARK doesn't send downloads.

Why didn't my customer get an invoice or receipt?

Check Sender Details (Edit Website → SETTINGS → Web Forms → Sender Details). Without them no emails are sent. Once they're set up, resend it from the order's ⋯ menu.

My customer mistyped their email address. Open the order's ⋯ menu, choose Invoice or Receipt, correct the address and send.

Does "Mark refunded" refund the customer?

No, it only records the refund. Refund the customer the way they paid. For PayPal, refund in your PayPal account, and the order updates by itself.

If I restore a backup of my website, will I lose orders or products?

No. Backups cover your website's design and pages. Your products, orders and store settings are kept as they are.

Can I turn my store off?

Yes: Store → Settings → General, switch off Store is on, then publish your website. The cart button, checkout and every Product block disappear from your site. Your products and orders are kept, and switching the store back on brings it all back.

Product blocks are the only thing hidden. If a product has its own photos and description around the block, remove or change that section yourself.

Can I try the store before building my website?

Yes. Open any store template and try it, including placing an order. Orders there are pretend orders: nothing is saved, charged or emailed.
