General Questions

SiteSPARK is Beta release, what does that mean?

Beta is a crucial stage in software development where a product is made available for testing and feedback. This phase allows us to gather valuable insights, identify and fix bugs, and make improvements based on your experiences. Essentially, it's a way to ensure that the builder is as polished and user-friendly as possible.

During the Beta stage, you might notice some minor changes and updates happening frequently. This is because we're actively working on refining SiteSPARK based on your feedback. You may see new features being added, some UI elements being moved around, or even some features being removed.

While we don't anticipate any major disruptions, there might be occasional forced rebuilds or republishing of websites to fix any bugs that are discovered. Rest assured, these changes are all part of the process to enhance your overall experience.

SiteSPARK generates a Static website, what does that mean?

When a visitor accesses your site, our server delivers a ready-made page. This is different from dynamic websites, like those made with WordPress, where the server build the HTML pages first by connecting to the Database to get page information and rended it using the appropiate templates and plugins. Static pages are much faster to load

Static websites are more stable and less prone to runtime errors that can occur due to server-side scripting (PHP in case of Wordpress) or database.Static websites is secure by default because they don't rely on a open-source generators themes or plugins, where security vulnerabilities can often be exploited.

This doesn’t mean that static websites can’t be interactive or engaging. They can still have clickable links and buttons, images and video, CTAs, forms, digital downloads, ..etc.

Some functions, like contact forms, require server-side interactivity. In these cases, your SiteSPARK website will use JavaScript to communicate with our server in the background to send form content via email.
